People in the Philippines, Mexico, China, Japan, Vietnam, and the United States have experienced storm-related effects, including heavy rain, strong winds, flooding, and power outages in some areas. In the United States, impacts were reported along the Gulf Coast and across the Southeast, with four deaths and widespread outages after landfall in Florida.

A Prayer for Affected Communities

Heavenly Father, we praise You as our refuge and faithful strength in every storm. We bring before You people affected in the Philippines, Mexico, China, Japan, the United States, and Vietnam. In the United States, comfort families grieving four deaths, sustain those without power in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi, and guide crews clearing debris, assessing damage, and restoring electricity. Grant wisdom to leaders, safety to responders, healing to the affected, and peace to anxious hearts. Remind us that You are near to the brokenhearted and uphold us by Your Holy Spirit. Through Jesus Christ, keep our hope steady in Your care. In Jesus-Christ's name we pray. Amen!

You can join others in this prayer right now. As we lift up these communities together, we trust in God's faithfulness and care.
