A Prayer for Affected Communities
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for all those in the affected regions struck by Typhoon. Please comfort those who have lost homes, loved ones, or precious possessions; hold close families who are separated, frightened, and weary. Tenderly embrace the children who are scared and traumatized, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds. Strengthen rescue workers and first responders with courage, wisdom, and safety. Bless medical teams and aid workers with endurance, compassion, and all they need. Guide government leaders as they make urgent decisions, granting them discernment and integrity. Lord, begin the healing and rebuilding of communities, and remind every soul of Your promise: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” In Jesus' name, Amen.
