Heavenly Father, we praise You for Your unwavering goodness, faithfulness, and sovereign power over every storm and season, displaying Your boundless love even in chaos. In this urgent crisis from the typhoon striking **Portugal** and **Afghanistan**, we cry out for those shattered by Storm Kristin—lives lost to falling trees and poles in Vila Franca de Xira, Leiria, and Figueira da Foz, with power outages, blocked roads, and destroyed homes—and the deadly snowstorms across 15 Afghan provinces claiming 61 souls, injuring over 110, demolishing 458 homes, killing livestock, and stranding hundreds in freezing isolation. Comfort families grieving loved ones or searching for the missing; heal the injured in care; soothe scared, traumatized children; empower rescue workers, first responders, and medical teams; guide government leaders and uniting communities. As You calmed the gale in Mark 4:39, send Jesus Christ’s peace and the Holy Spirit’s strength. We end in hope rooted in Christ. In Jesus-Christ's name we pray. Amen!
