A Prayer for Affected Communities
Heavenly Father, We come before you with heavy hearts for all affected by Storm in the regions of the Gulf Coast, the Carolinas, and the Southeast, where devastation has torn through communities. Comfort those who lost homes, loved ones, or precious possessions, and hold tightly to families separated or trembling in fear. Be especially near the children who are scared and traumatized, wrapping them in Your gentle peace. Strengthen the rescue workers, first responders, medical teams, and aid workers who risk themselves to bring safety and healing. Grant wisdom to government leaders making critical decisions, and unite our communities in healing and rebuilding. As Psalm 46 promises, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble,” we trust in Your power to restore. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
