A Prayer for Affected Communities
Heavenly Father, we lift before You all who have been affected by Storm in the affected regions. Draw near to those who have lost homes, loved ones, or possessions, and comfort every grieving heart with Your peace. Shelter families who are separated or living in fear, and hold close the children who are scared and traumatized. Strengthen rescue workers and first responders, protect medical teams and aid workers, and grant wisdom, courage, and endurance to government leaders making urgent decisions. Bring help swiftly, healing deeply, and hope anew. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Restore these communities, unite neighbors in compassion, and guide the rebuilding of every life and place. In Jesus' name, Amen.
