This heartbreaking loss has left families, the community, and the nation in profound grief, with the perpetrator arrested amid ongoing investigations. May God's comfort surround the bereaved, and eternal peace embrace these innocent souls.

A Prayer for Affected Communities

Heavenly Father, we praise You for Your boundless goodness, faithfulness, and sovereign love that holds all nations in Your hands, even amid unimaginable evil. In this heartbreaking crisis, we lift up Uganda, where four precious children were brutally stabbed to death at a school in Kampala on April 1, the perpetrator arrested as emergency services respond. Comfort all directly affected, grieving families who’ve lost loved ones or seek the missing, the injured in care, and terrified, traumatized children. Strengthen rescue workers, first responders, medical teams, government leaders coordinating efforts, and communities uniting to help. As You promise in Psalm 34:18, You are near the brokenhearted. We call on Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit to bring urgent healing and peace. Our hope is rooted in Christ’s victory over darkness. In Jesus-Christ's name we pray. Amen!
