A Prayer for Affected Communities
Heavenly Father, We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up all affected by the devastating Flood in regions across the world. Lord, comfort those who have lost homes, loved ones, or precious possessions, and hold close families separated or filled with fear. Speak peace to the children who are scared and traumatized, replacing their terror with Your gentle assurance. Strengthen rescue workers, first responders, medical teams, and aid workers as they bring relief; guide government leaders making critical decisions with wisdom and humility. We pray for community healing and the courage to rebuild what was destroyed. As Psalm 46 promises, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in distress,” remind every heart that You are near. Let Your love flow through us as we support those in need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
