A Prayer for Affected Communities
Heavenly Father, we lift before You the people in famine-stricken regions, crying out for mercy, provision, and relief. Comfort those who have lost homes, loved ones, or possessions, and draw near to families separated, fearful, and exhausted. Protect children who are scared and traumatized; let Your peace guard their hearts and minds. Strengthen rescue workers, first responders, medical teams, and aid workers with endurance, wisdom, and safety as they serve. Grant government leaders humility and courage to make just and swift decisions for the good of the suffering. Heal communities, restore hope, and guide rebuilding with unity and compassion. Lord, You promise to be near to the brokenhearted; let that promise be felt today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
