A Prayer for Affected Communities
Heavenly Father, we praise You as our merciful Provider and faithful refuge. We bring before You people and families in Djibouti, Yemen, Palestine, Sudan, Afghanistan, and Ethiopia. Strengthen those facing hunger and uncertainty, and provide food, work, care, and safe access to assistance. In Afghanistan, guide leaders and responders as they address projected winter food insecurity, rising prices, unemployment, and malnutrition needs. Grant wisdom, compassion, and sufficient resources to those serving affected communities. Bring healing, peace, and protection, and sustain our hope in Your promise to be near to the brokenhearted. We trust Your mercy through Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and end with hope in Christ. In Jesus-Christ's name we pray. Amen!
