A Prayer for Affected Communities
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for all affected by the Epidemic in the affected regions. Comfort those who have lost homes, loved ones, and possessions; surround grieving families with Your peace. Be near to families separated by fear and uncertainty, and shelter children who are scared and traumatized with Your tender mercy. Strengthen rescue workers, first responders, medical teams, and aid workers with courage, wisdom, and protection. Grant government leaders clarity and compassion as they make difficult decisions. Lord, bring healing to every wounded body, mind, and spirit, and guide communities in rebuilding with hope. You have promised to be close to the brokenhearted; let that promise be alive among us today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
