A Prayer for Affected Communities
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for all those affected by the Epidemic in the affected regions. Comfort those who have lost homes, loved ones, or possessions, and surround families who are separated, grieving, or living in fear. Hold the children who are scared and traumatized, and give them peace that passes understanding. Strengthen rescue workers and first responders with courage, wisdom, and protection. Bless medical teams and aid workers with endurance, compassion, and every needed resource. Guide government leaders as they make urgent decisions, and grant them justice, clarity, and mercy. Bring healing to communities, and begin the work of rebuilding with hope. Lord, as Your Word promises in Psalm 46:1, be our refuge and strength in this time of trouble. In Jesus' name, Amen.
