A Prayer for Affected Communities
Heavenly Father, we praise You as our faithful and compassionate God, sustaining creation and drawing near to those in need. We pray for people and families in Sudan, especially in Darfur and parts of Kordofan, amid severe rainfall deficits, conflict, and displacement. Provide food, nutrition assistance, clean water, sanitation, health services, and support for winter planting. Strengthen responders and guide leaders toward wise, peaceful action and urgent provision. We also remember Ethiopia and ask for mercy and needed support there. Bring healing where suffering is present, protect hope, and let Your promise of presence sustain us. Through Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, keep our hope alive in Christ. In Jesus-Christ's name we pray. Amen!
